Organiser's Comment
Thank you to everyone (and an excellent turnout) who came and enjoyed the morning in the woods with the deer, wild boar(??) and hares. Weren't the daffodils and primroses a spectacle! We were very fortunate that the rain did not materialise until after we had collected all controls in, and a big thanks to Jane (for helping all morning) and to John M for collecting controls at the end.
It was good to see runners from a variety of clubs, as well as local schools, and one boy even had a birthday celebration with friends! There were many newcomers, and perhaps the yellow course was a little difficult for some, whereas a white course would have suited better, but hopefully we will see you all at future events. And thank you to those on the yellow course who gave up their maps so that others could run.
