Coaching activities are for current club-members, prospective club members and local schools only. They are intended to help beginners and improvers master the orienteering basics and generally cover skills up to and including the Orange colour standard. No previous experience is necessary. Participants take part at their own pace and can do as many or as few of the exercises as they wish. Participants may attend as many or as few of the coaching activities as they wish but non-members will be expected to join the club if they attend 3 or more times (for purposes of insurance) . Each activity will run from 10:30 am to around 12:00 pm. The cost for each coaching activity is generally £2 per participant. This will be confirmed for each activity nearer the time.
Pre-booking with the coach leading these sessions is always required to ensure the coach:participant ratio is not exceeded and the correct number of maps are printed.
