The Orienteering Foundation has approved our grant application

OD is excited to announce that the club has been awarded a grant from The Orienteering Foundation to engage a Club Development Officer (CDO) for a two-year period. The CDO’s main focus will be to increase membership, offer a wider range of events and activities to existing members and to modernise the club’s use of social media and communication with and between members. The CDO position will be for an average 1.5 days a week although actual weekly involvement will vary according to activities over the year. OD will commence the search to find a suitable CDO immediately. Further news releases and more detailed information will follow over the coming weeks.  I would also like to express the club’s thanks to the Orienteering Foundation for approving our bid.
