16th Nov 2016 "After Dark" event Memorial Park Results

This introductory event to night orienteering was a tremendous success.  The weather stayed dry all day and the skies were fairly clear giving reasonable visibility.  The event attracted 9 juniors who performed exceptionally well.  Special mention to Felix and Oliver  who completed the 6.3 course in 35 minutes with only 12 seconds separating them.  Not far behind was Oliver Flippance who also completed the course in just under 38 minutes.  This shows fantastic potential for the night legs of the Peter Palmer relays in the future.  I received many positive comments and many are looking forward to the next night event.  I am grateful to Bob and Dave for collecting controls.
