The weather just got better and better ! Two weeks ago the car park field was too wet to use and I thought we would be using the pit site again for parking and assembly. Being able to use the estate field kept the parking/assembly /courses all within easy reach and together with the weather I hope produced an enjoyable day for all.
My sincere thanks go to the 59 helpers on the day. It was a privelige to work with you all. Also thanks to the Controller ā€“ Roger Edwards (LEI) for all your help and advice both before, during and after the day. Janet Richardson, the planner, put in a vast amount of time to produce 11 great courses. Thanks Janet ! My thanks to the staff at the Merevale Estate for being so accommodating. Without their support there would be no event. We are lucky to be able to use this beautiful private woodland.
