Organiser's comments
A great new area with a fantastic map drawn by Bruce Bryant. We were lucky to have a still and dry November Saturday morning to help the event run well, quite different to the weather that was forecasted!
Karin did a fantastic job, as ever, welcoming newcomers. They all seemed to enjoy themselves. The Lunn family all did very well with a combined number of 7 runs between them! Two juniors wanted to try out an urban course, so ran the urban short course with their parent's supervising the road crossings.
Many thanks to Bruce for providing the map and helping with the planning and formatting of the courses. Thanks to Kirsten Strain for help with putting controls out, helping with registration and download and collecting the controls in, she noted that she'd never put controls out on her bike before! Thanks also to Andrew Ward and Sue Hallett for collecting the controls in and to the Urquharts for their help with kit organisation and collection.
