Club Champs, Christmas Party and Christmas Relays

December is a busy month for Droobers with the Club Championships on Dec 8th at Brandon Woods, The Christmas Party on Dec 18th  at Kenilworth Cricket Club and the Christmas Relays on December 28th at Rough Close. Definitely the biggest monthe in the club's social calendar so why not come along to join your clubmates.

The Christmas Party starts at 19.30 - see the latest Droober for details. Post code for the cricket club is CV8 1FE - just roll-up and bring along a sharing plate of food which always makes a  great spread. The bar will be open with tea and coffee also available. There will be a fun quiz and lots of opportunity to socialise.

Details for the club relay are on the website and also in the latest Droober. If you have not come along before, it is just a four member team relay with legs around, 1km, 2km, 3 km and 4 km so there is one that everyone can do. There will be food on offer and it is a great way of shaking off the post Christmas lethargy. Hope to see lots of you there.

Are you, or do you know someone who might be interested?

The club is still seeking to identify someone to take on our Development Officer position. It is not going to be easy to find someone with the right blend of orienteering experience who has the time and is within easy reach of our area. The call goes out to all our members to consider if it is something they could do or, perhaps more likely, if they know anyone who might be suitable. The position is very flexible and the opportunity to earn £15K over a couple of years could be quite useful as it can be fitted around your lifestyle.
