Milton Keynes, Cambridge and Redditch Orienteering Results

This weekend the club members enjoyed some urban orienteering in towns and cities staged around the midlands. The Cambridge race saw several first places for Octavian Droobers: Peter Carey M75, Liz Phillips W55 and Sheila Carey W75 all won their classes, Mike Hampton M75 was 2nd and Bruce Bryant M60 3rd in their classes too.

At the Great Linford event, Milton Keynes, Peter and Sheila were also in great form winning their classes and Mike was 3rd in his class.

Results from the Church Hill event in Redditch, organised by Harlequins Orienteering Club saw more 1st places: Chris McCartney M50 on the Vets Men course, Mike Baggott M70 on the Ultravet Mens course, Joanne Leigh W50 on the Ultravet Womans and Sue Hallett W75 on the Hypervet Womans courses.

Next local race – Cracks Hill, Crick

The Autumn local programme of events start on Saturday 25th September with several orienteering races around Cracks Hill, between Crick and Yelvertoft.
