Location : in the Park & Ride car park, off the A429 Kenilworth Road about 2 km SW of the city centre.
By bus: via Kenilworth Road - 11 or 12X.
By rail: Coventry Station, (London to Birmingham Line). 1.5km / 15 minutes walk along Kenilworth Road.

Car Parking: in the main "Park and Ride" car park. ANPR operation with up to 3 hours free (take a ticket on entry & just proceed to the exit if you are under 3 hours).
EOD (Entry on the Day) may be restricted by the availability of printed maps. Currently, (Tuesday 11am) we have available 5 Score course maps and 6 Easy Line course maps

Start times: 18:00 - 18:45 Courses close at 19:30
Punching: SI - SIAC enabled. Punch the start and finish.
45 minute Score course: .Double sided map with an easy Score course A (14 controls, even numbered) and a more difficult Score course B (21 controls, odd numbers) including some more difficult controls in the woods.
Score optimum routes: Even A 2.4km 14 controls, Odd B 3.5km 21 controls
All controls are worth 10 points with 10 points penalty for every minute late. You can do the A and B in any order and transfer to either at any time BUT you cannot transfer back. Only punch the finish when you feel you have completed the whole course and not at the end of the first loop.
Easy line course: 2.3km 15 controls, yellow/orange standard
Map: A4 size on waterproof paper. Scale 1:5000 with 2 m contours, revised August 2023. Spec: ISSprOM 2019-2.
Toilets: are located behind the Visitor Centre about 250m from the car park..

Safety and Risk:
Once you have started a course it is a rule that you don't leave the event without reporting to a download official even if you retire.
A risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event. It is recommended that whistles are carried. If you have a high risk medical condition you want organisers to be aware of please leave details at enquiries in a sealed envelope with your name on it. can use this medical form. Envelopes will only be opened if required for a medical emergency. Unopened envelopes should be collected after the event. Any unclaimed envelopes will be destroyed after the event.
An emergency number for the day is printed on the map. First aid and details of the nearest A&E hospital will be available in the assembly area.

British Orienteering has an agreed national guidance policy on the taking of photographs at events. If you are unsure about agreed acceptable practise please speak to the event organiser.
Privacy & Personal Data:
When entering events your personal details (name, age, gender, club) will appear in the results section on this website. It may also be used to trace missing runners and hired SI cards.
