IMPORTANT COMPETITOR / SAFETY INFORMATION
- All available courses go into central or residential areas of Rugby. Care must be taken at all times when crossing roads. These courses are not suitable for unaccompanied juniors under 16.
- Courses 1-3: have a double-sided map. Turn over for part 2
- Courses 1-5: have both a 90-second timed-out road crossing and an underpass that must be used to enter/exit an area surrounded by a busy road. The road is marked as OOB with the usual purple cross-hatch symbol.
- Courses 1-3 & 6: have a few controls in an old railway cutting. Depending on your route choice, you may encounter long grass/undergrowth and steep slopes (which may be muddy).
- No blank maps will be displayed in the start lanes however the 2017 map is available on OD Routegadget here
- Forbidden to Cross and Special symbols: are included with the full legend on page 3 of the final details pdf (see link below) and competitors should be aware of the standard representation of an underpass or tunnel which is now different to that used in the 2017 map.
