| Thank you all for coming along to the 2009 Gates run. Congratulations to Jamie Nicolson aged 9 for getting round in such a fast time. I am very grateful to Frank Smith for setting the first Over 80's record in 106.14. Frank time was faster than last year, so I don't expect the record will stand for very long. Our thanks are due to the organisation team of Greta Greenall, Sue Hallett and Carolyn Marr. I was unable to attend this year, instead I was in Cardiff at my son Tim's graduation - hence the letters on the gates read TimBsc, thought up and put out by Greta. Heather Shilling kindly provided the local publicity getting advance details of the event into the Sutton papers. We hope to see you all again next year. | |||||||
