I don't know what I have done to deserve two successive events when torrential rain has been a dominant factor in the event's success. My thanks to everyone who turned up and braved the conditions – considerably more than at Tudor Grange a month ago. The rain did stop however for the later starters and for collecting in controls.
My apologies to Carys and Ros for my mistake in putting a wrong control code on the description sheet for the Orange course.
Also to all those competitors who were disadvantaged over control 132 which went missing during the middle part of the evening. It was found up a nearby tree. Thank you to Andrew McNally for displaying his tree climbing skills to recover it and replace it for later competitors.
My thanks go to Liz Urquhart for help on registration and to John, Alan and Bob for helping to collect in controls.
