Many thanks for coming along and making use of the new sprint map of Woodcote, my first proper map.

There is more work to do on it and hopefully the venue will be used for a sprint race next summer.

The weather was very kind and the sun shone all day which made the event. It was a good job the rain stopped. The stream in the middle dropped about a foot between 7am and 10am.

There was a good turnout with 58 runs, some doing 2 courses and some new faces to the sport - great.

Thanks to Paul and Elizabeth for doing the results, Bob guiding new comers and all at the Start, Judith and Gill for doing registration and finally Barry for helping to collect controls.

The Juniors also had a good hours training including a line exercise round the buildings, much to the bemusement of a police officer!

Next Saturday event and Junior Coaching Hay Wood - Saturday 4th October 208.
