Thank you all for coming.  What an exciting aternoon I had putting out the controls.  The hilly bit over the canal was the scene of management training with vehicles tazzing about all over the place.  I dodged the quad bikes, hover craft, caterpillar tracked personnel carriers to put out all but 4 of the controls.  However in the north-eastern bit of wood, the notice saying 'Shooting in Progress - KEEP OUT' meant that I had to wait until 6pm to put those four out.
Many thanks to Dave Thacker and Greta Greenall for looking after registration for me.  Sue's Hallet and Bicknell; Dave's Thacker and Marr for helping John Ward collect in the controls.  John will be putting them all out for us at Borough Hill on August 13th, maybe we should all go along.
