ORANISER’S COMMENTS What a fine evening and a good turn-out! It all makes the event worth putting on. 60 people came to enjoy the scamper round a rather flat and open area. However, including the new Coundon Wood at the NW corner, made it more of a challenge. With so many people, I was glad of help from Carolyn and others at registration. During the event, a few controls were moved and some punches disappeared, but these were replaced, thanks to the Hallidays. Thanks too, to Greta, Sue Hallett, Carolyn and Dave for helping to collect controls, and to Bob for taking all the equipment off me afterwards. I hope we have such good weather for the rest of the Summer series. Next week is a Sprint Race and ‘Come-and-Try-It’ at Solihull at Hillfield Park on the 25th of April. John Bowman |
