Evening Training Event

Despite the attentions of control vandals, most people seemed to enjoy their training run on a lovely summer evening. Some of the younger competitors on the Yellow course felt threatened by the youths hanging around their controls and very sensibly returned to the finish without completing their course. However, they did extremely well on the “Tree Trail” before they left.

Apologies to the Yellow course competitors for a missing punch (retrieved from the locals youths by Pete) and Green Course competitors for the missing control (recovered from a hedge after the event). Two of the White controls were stolen before they were collected in and so in all we lost two stakes, two mini banners and two punches. Thanks to all helpers and competitors.
