Controller’s Comments

This was a very easy event to control, partly due to its nature and largely due to Graham’s efficiency at organising and Richard’s competence at planning. Finding a car park was the only real concern and once Graham had secured use of Solihull Borough Football Club’s car park our problems were over. Alan Halliday turned the maps around very quickly and was even able to remove a couple of completely overgrown paths from the map – the benefits of digital mapping. Hope you all enjoyed your run out; at least we all finished before the rain arrived.

Organiser’s comments

Thank you to all of the helpers and competitors for supporting our charity event and the Leukaemia Society. We must give a special thank you to Alan Halliday & Kall Kwik of Leamington for donating the printing of the maps, and to the Solihull Borough Football Club for making the event possible by providing car parking and toilets. The event made over £200 for the society.
