Organiser's Comments:
This year's Club Championships saw a change of venue from the past two years at Brandon Wood, to the familiar surroundings of Itchington Holt. Though this was only a Level D event, there was still more to take into consideration than at the Wednesday night events that I have organised before. However, thanks to the many kind offers of help it all went very smoothly on the day. Special thanks to those who rescued the direction signs that were blown away in the wind and taped them back on their stakes! Many people commented that they enjoyed their runs, credit there must go to Stan for his courses - even going above and beyond by providing an Orange when it wasn't required for the Champs! Also thanks to Stan for putting out most of the controls in the rain on Saturday.
Thanks again to all helpers, control collectors, and the juniors for providing us all with cakes. Also, thanks to the landowners for giving us permission to use the woods.
