Organisers' Comments:

Hartshill turned out to be slightly more of a challenge than we intended. We knew that the wood would be considerably greener than two weeks ago when the bluebells were at their best, but the trees had not yet clothed themselves for summer. What we could not have anticipated was the heavy cloud cover making it almost like a night event under the canopy. (Even more so when we collected controls).

However, most people had good runs on all the courses. Just look at Harrison's time!! And also Oliver Lunn - well done to both. Aplogies to Alison Sloman for the faulty EMIT, we know that she completed the course. Apologies also to Bruce Bryant for leaving the check box close to the download case.

We had to make efficient use of controls as I was not working on Wednesday afternoon when we agreed to put on the event. Knowing that we would have limited time to set up, we tried to offer something for everyone using only 21 controls.

So, thank you all for coming and a special thank you to Karin for the "help station" , Harrison McCartney and John Ward for helping to collect in the controls. John Bowman manned the download towards the end and John Middler checked that we were OK for help before leaving).
